The Independent National Election Commission has launched an online training portal for electoral officials.
In a series of tweets late Saturday, the electoral body stated that the software, called INEC e-school, is intended to improve the efficacy of electoral training for its staff ahead of the polls.
The electoral body added that the app employs face-to-face and virtual techniques by merging text-based, audio, and video content to enable officials gain a greater grasp of its processes.
According to INEC, the app is accessible on Google Play and was developed with the assistance of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems.
“The website is a user-friendly platform containing courses for SPO, APO/PO, and CO that are specifically designed to improve the ability of poll workers, INEC officials, and the general public.”
