The Nasarawa State Police Command has verified the kidnapping of several students from LGEA Primary School, Alwaza, Alwaza village, Doma local government area, in the early hours of Friday.
DSP Rahman Nansel, the state Police Public Relations Officer, verified the event and stated that a joint squad of police, military, and vigilante personnel has already been mobilised and deployed on the trail of the abductors, who are claimed to be riding motorbikes.

He said that an undisclosed number of primary school students were abducted during the incident, which occurred while the youngsters were on their way to school.
He stated that the whereabouts of the students and their abductors are still unknown, but he also verified that security officers have been despatched to guarantee that the students are safely retrieved from the hands of their abductors.
