Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential nominee for the February 25, 2023, election, vowed that no one could make him leave Nigeria.
Mr. Obi had before claimed that he was being pressured to leave the nation, but he insisted that he was dedicated to building a new Nigeria.
Speaking during a rally in Onitsha, Anambra State to promote Labour Party candidate Afam Ogene for the Ogbaru Federal Constituency, Mr. Obi admitted that there are too many thieves in the nation who are causing pain to the common people.
But he emphasized that the Labour Party is committed to ridding the nation’s political system of such individuals.
Therefore, the Labour Party is striving to rebuild Nigeria. Nobody is going to make me leave Nigeria while I am with you, Obi said.
