The House of Representatives supplemental election for the Ogbaru Federal Constituency has not yet started in several voting places in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area.

Only Ogbaru, one of Anambra’s 11 constituencies, saw an unresolved election on February 25.

Voters in Okpoko Ward 14, polling unit 052, were spotted waiting desolately for Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, workers to arrive with materials at around 11 a.m.

Despite their being no threat, Mrs. Cordelia Enwerem, a local voter, protested about the non-arrival of materials and INEC’s failure to send out officials.

Voters reportedly drove away INEC workers who arrived in other parts of Okpoko without result sheets.
