Kalidou Koulibaly, a former star for Chelsea, has revealed why he decided to join a Saudi Pro League club.
The Senegalese emphasized the importance of his high-profile move to Al-Hilal and claimed that as a Muslim, he had finally arrived in the best country.
After just one season with the Blues, Koulibaly moved for the Saudi Arabian club for €23 million.
According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, he has a three-year contract for €25 million with Al-Hilal.
I picked the greatest squad in the Arab league, Koulibaly remarked in an interview with Corriere dello Sport. Being a Muslim, I’m happy to have arrived in the right country.
“And I’m thrilled to be one of the first to land in an evolving championship. Koulibaly stated, “I hope to help Saudi Arabia and Al-Hilal write a new chapter in athletic history.
Additionally, this is an important contract. I will be able to help social activities of my association, “Capitane du Coeur,” in Senegal, as well as my whole family’s well-being, from my parents to my cousins.
