Simeone Inzaghi, the manager of Inter Milan, has responded to Romelu Lukaku’s choice to join Roma on a one-year loan from Chelsea.
Lukaku, who spent the previous season on loan with Inter Milan, decided not to make his stay there permanent this summer.
Although the Belgian forward had shown interest in moving to another Serie A club, Juventus, he will now be part of Roma’s team for the upcoming season.
Inzaghi shared his thoughts on the matter, stating, “The acquisition of Lukaku is a very positive signing, and it brings positive news not only for AS Roma but also for Italian football as a whole. The addition of top-tier players like Lukaku is truly a boost for Serie A.”
Furthermore, Inzaghi expressed contentment with his own team, saying, “I am highly content with my existing players; I am genuinely pleased with their performance,” in comments made to DAZN.
