President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, led by Chief of Defense Staff General Lucky Irabor.
This is President Tinubu’s first formal meeting with security officials following his inauguration.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao, and the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba are among those meeting with President Tinubu.
Others include Yusuf Bichi, Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), and Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
General Irabor, the Chief of Defence Staff, led the service chiefs and other heads of security agencies into the Presidential Villa in Abuja for the meeting.
On Wednesday, the President met with Abdulrasheed Bawa, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in the Villa.
