President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for immediate replacement of the Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC) nominee representing Ondo State, Mr. Victor Akinjo, with a new nominee, Hon. Otito Atikase.
In addition, the President has also authorized the immediate replacement of the NDDC’s nominee from Cross River State, Mr. Asi Oku Okang, with a new Cross River State Representative, Rt. Hon. Orok Otu Duke.
These replacements were officially announced through a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in Abuja on Friday.
Furthermore, the statement clarified that Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the NDDC, has been reappointed for a second term and will continue to serve in an acting capacity until his reappointment is confirmed by the Senate.
