Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has made changes in the positions of two newly-appointed Special Advisers, as revealed in a statement released on Friday by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
Muri-Okunola conveyed that these redeployments were announced during the 2023 on-boarding retreat program for the newly-sworn-in members of the Lagos State Executive Council (SEC) and the body of Permanent Secretaries.
Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih-Awokoya, who was serving as the Special Adviser on Health, has been redeployed from the Ministry of Health to the Office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Additionally, Mr. Abiola Olowu, who previously worked in the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, has been reassigned to the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources as the Special Adviser for the Office of Mineral Resources.
These changes have taken immediate effect, with the Special Adviser for Works now functioning under the Office of the Lagos State Deputy Governor.
