A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Cairo Ojuogbo, on Saturday, claimed the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege worked against the emergence of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu. Ojuogbo said Omo-Agege never believed Tinubu would win the presidential election, hence did not work for his emergence. Speaking on Arise Television, the APC chieftain claimed that the deputy senate president worked for the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi during the last election.
He also denied allegations that he was kicked out of the APC in Delta State by the Omo-Agege section of the party.
Ojuogbo asserts: “Look at all his postal; it was Peter Obi. Omo-Agege did anti-party; he never imagined Tinubu will win the presidential election. He never put any effort towards Tinubu’s ascent since he never thought he would win the election.
“Look at how he conducted his campaign in Delta State; he rounded up and employed young males. He said he was in politics to hurt people, and then he went about pleading with authorities.
