Former Enugu State Governor Chimaroke Nnamani has said that his removal from the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee is null and void.
The Enugu East senator said that the PDP’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, told the National Working Committee that it had no authority to eject him from the party.
He further stated that the expulsion procedure did not follow the protocols outlined in the PDP’s constitution.
The former Enugu State governor was expelled from the party on Friday evening, along with other members from Ekiti and Imo states, for suspected anti-party activities.
