In preparation for the upcoming governorship elections on November 11 in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has established a special national media and publicity committee aimed at raising public awareness about the party’s policies and initiatives.

Comprising twelve members, the committee has been instituted based on the provisions outlined in Section 40 (1) (a), (b), and (c) of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017). Its primary role involves collaborating with various campaign councils and committees associated with the elections to ensure effective media and publicity strategies that will contribute to the party’s triumph in the upcoming elections.

The committee will be led by Ologunagba as the chairperson and will have Richard Ihediwa as its secretary. Additional members include Emmanuel Ibeshi, Kola Ologbondiyan, Emmanuel Ogidi, Segun Sowunmi, and Richard Akanmode. Moreover, the committee consists of Don Evarada, Alfred Kemepado, Arthur Ugochukwu, Ezekwe Uche, and Ibu Thomas, who will serve as the technical and information technology assistant for the committee.
