Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, the popular media personality known as Do2dtun, has responded to the allegations of domestic abuse made by his estranged wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo. Their public dispute has reignited after Do2dtun questioned the custody of their two daughters, alleging that Taiwo took the children away in violation of a court order that granted shared custody.
In her response, Taiwo revealed that she left the marriage due to enduring eight years of sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse, which left her traumatized and in pain. She questioned how she could have raised their daughters in such an environment.
Furthermore, Taiwo addressed the claim that Dbanj played a role in their marriage’s dissolution, emphasizing that it wasn’t his battle and that he only assisted in covering Do2dtun’s financial responsibilities. She also mentioned that Dbanj had paid several rents to prevent them from living on the streets, and all her decisions were made to protect their daughters.
In a counter-statement, Do2dtun challenged Dbanj to provide evidence, such as rent receipts, to support the claims made by his estranged wife. He openly challenged Dbanj on social media, implying that Taiwo might have misled him about the use of the funds he provided, including the children’s school fees.
Do2dtun also disputed the allegations of domestic abuse, accusing Taiwo of inconsistency in her claims. He asserted that her descriptions of the events varied from what she filed legally to what she conveyed to the press.
Finally, he said that the marriage ended not solely because of the alleged abuses but because Taiwo married her own brother and relied heavily on her mother’s influence for decision-making.
