Sen. Bola Tinubu’s selection as the next president following the elections on February 25 has been approved by God, according to Prophet Wale Ojo of the Harvest Centre Mission in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The message was delivered by Mr. Ojo, the Presiding Shepherd of the Mission, on Monday during an Alausa Ikeja press conference.
It served to ease tension, lend legitimacy, and clear the air regarding the elect President’s moral position.
The prophet, who was renowned for his accurate forecasts, had predicted that Tinubu will become the next president of Nigeria in January 2021.
According to Mr. Ojo, God will use Tinubu as the vehicle to miraculously release Nigeria and Africa from their predicament.
The two leaders’ shared religious background (Muslim-Muslim), he claimed, made no difference to God.
He continued by saying that God didn’t choose leaders based on their race, color, or religious preferences, but rather on their capacity to carry out His predetermined plan.
The speaker claimed that God has remained the same God and is working to utilize the President-elect as a conduit to completely liberate the people and deliver assistance to the people. In the past, God used former President Obasanjo to discharge Nigeria’s debt to the Paris Club.
According to him, Tinubu’s leadership and tremendous feats during his dispensation would aim at releasing Nigeria and Africa from poverty and crises, much as the conception, death, and resurrection of Christ remained a mystery to man.
“Thank God for the confirmation of the revelation from two years ago; God is not a man; His words are His bond. In order for the President-elect to stay on the right track with God’s plan, it is up to us to assist him with our prayers.
“For those who claim that his ascension did not occur in accordance with the law, God does not obey the laws of man; rather, His methods, like the birth of Jesus Christ, have remained a mystery to mankind. The crucial question is: Did He fulfill His prophecy?
“There must be a winner and a loser in any competition. In human society, reactions to the election’s results are anticipated. However, as Christians, we should go beyond the visible and pay attention to God’s message.
“As a people, we believe in the effectiveness of prayer and the power of God; it is our responsibility to present the incoming president and the country to God through our supplications for things to change for the better, as doing otherwise will not benefit the country,” he stated.
He continued by saying that although he didn’t personally know Tinubu and hadn’t asked to, with the knowledge of God, he knew that Tinubu would improve the nation’s economy by employing the things that were rejected to their advantage.
He stated that ending the ongoing human devastation in the nation caused by rebels, banditry, and abduction was one of the heavenly mandates given to Tinubu.
