The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria, or CEAN, said on Monday that the country’s March ticket sales brought in N441 million.
Opeyemi Ajayi, the National Chairman of CEAN, made this disclosure in a Lagos interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.
According to Ajayi, 174,071 people entered theaters across the federation during the evaluation period.
“In March, we saw 174,071 viewers enter theaters and total sales of N441,752,914 across all of them.
“Sales in March were encouraging compared to February, when we reported total sales of N278 million as a result of the events surrounding the Presidential and National Assembly elections as well as the country’s cash-flow crisis.
Super Mario Bros., Domitila, Bloomboys, Honey Money, Renfield, and The Pope’s Exorcist will all be on display in April, he announced.
