Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has stated that their Premier League match against Arsenal on Wednesday would be difficult.
The Champions are five points behind Mikel Arteta’s men, despite having two excellent matchups to play.
Guardiola praised Arsenal players’ fighting spirit and agility ahead of the top-of-the-table encounter at the Etihad.
“They went to Anfield a few weeks ago and won second balls, long balls, and they were better for a large portion of the game.”
“I’m not saying anything new; we felt it in our two games against them this season.” It’s tough to challenge them in those terms or with their pace and intensity, much alone their talent,” Guardiola added.
