Mason Greenwood told his fellow players that he will never play for Manchester United again, according to the UK Sun.
Greenwood’s rape and assault allegations were dropped in February.
However, the club has since launched an internal investigation, delaying the player’s return to the field.
After the charges were dropped, the 21-year-old forward was expected to join Erik ten Hag’s squad, and he has grown frustrated with the lack of progress. Greenwood has been barred from returning to training with the Red Devils for the time being, despite still earning £70,000 a week.
His current deal at Old Trafford will expire in the summer of 2025.
