Six students scored 01 in the National Examinations Council’s 202: National Common Entrance Examinations,( NECO).
Andrew Adejo, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, disclosed this at a score breakdown in Abuja on Wednesday.
“A total of (72,865) pupils registered compared to 71,738 for 2022, with Lagos State having the highest number of 18,644 and Taraba having the lowest number of 102,” Adejo added. We are making progress with bridging the gender parity, with 38,801 female registrants compared to 34,064 males; 69,829 students sat for the exam.”
“3,036 pupils were absent; 76 pupils had the highest score of 203; six pupils had the lowest score of 01 mark.”
