The apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has firmly affirmed that the scheduled 2023 Igbo Day on September 28 and 29 is of utmost importance, sacred and non-negotiable. Furthermore, the group has clarified that there will be no conflict or overlap between the 2023 Igbo Day and the South-East Summit on Security and Economy, both slated for the same dates in Enugu and Owerri, Imo State.

In conclusion, he extended a warm welcome to all invited individuals, whether they be sons and daughters, in-laws, friends, or partners, to join them for both the South-East Summit on Security and Economy and Igbo Day 2023 on September 28th and 29th.
