Emdee Tiamiyu, a Nigerian Youtuber, has apologised for his comment on Nigerian students studying in the United Kingdom in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation.
Following the backlash he received following the interview, the YouTuber issued an apology in a video posted on his YouTube account on Wednesday.
Tiamiyu, who is well-known for advising Nigerians on studying in the United Kingdom, stated that many of them were not seeking for new degrees, but rather to begin a new life in another country.
In a video posted on Wednesday morning, he apologised and said that he agreed to the interview in order to discuss the true challenges that the black community faces.
