President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of F O Okun as the Deputy Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service. Alongside Okun, two other Deputy Comptroller-Generals were appointed: MBA Musa and A Hamisu.
The statement, made this morning by Mr. Abdullahi Maiwada (CSC), the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, also revealed the appointment of three new Assistant Comptrollers-General (ACGs): K Olumoh, AB Mohammed, and A Alajogun.
These appointments were made following the selection of Mr. Adewale Adeniyi as the Acting Comptroller-General by President Tinubu on June 19.
The statement expressed gratitude to the retired members of the management for their commendable service. The Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, congratulated the newly appointed officers and urged them to work even harder in achieving the Service’s objectives, which include revenue generation, suppression of smuggling, and facilitating trade.
