Temilade Openiyi, popularly known to as Tems, a Nigerian female singer, finally received her Grammy award plaque.
Tems won Best Melodica Rap Performance at the 65th Grammy Awards on February 6, 2023 for her contribution to Future’s “Wait For U,” which featured Drake.
Muyiwa Awoniyi, the singer’s manager, announced the plaque’s arrival on social media on Friday night.
The curvaceous singer is not only the first female Nigerian artist to win a Grammy, but she is also the first female Nigerian singer to be nominated for a Grammy.
