Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has promised to settle all the pensions and entitlements owed to former governors and deputy governors of the State. He conveyed this assurance during a meeting at the Government House in Jalingo, the State capital, where he hosted former governor Jolly Nyame and his former deputy, Alhaji Armanyau Abubakar.
Governor Kefas emphasized that his administration is determined to clear all the outstanding arrears left behind by his predecessors. He called upon the people of Taraba, regardless of their religious, political, or tribal affiliations, to unite for the betterment of the State.
He stated, “It is the collective responsibility of every Taraban to contribute their wealth of experience to the development of the State.”
Former governor Jolly Nyame praised Governor Kefas and pledged his unwavering support to the current administration in the State. Nyame commended the Governor for his inclusive approach, which has encompassed all the people of the state, irrespective of their political or religious differences.
