Police have revealed that the six individuals arrested in relation to the murder of a well-known presidential candidate in Ecuador, along with one assailant who was fatally wounded, were all of Colombian nationality, as stated on Thursday.
AFP was informed by the police that “every single one of them, including the deceased, holds Colombian citizenship.” Earlier, Ecuador’s Interior Minister Juan Zapata had suggested that the individuals implicated in the assassination of Fernando Villavicencio were all foreigners..
