Senator Dino Melaye, a spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, has asked God to use Ramadan to correct the wrongs of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Melaye’s prayer was posted on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
Remember that the Muslim faithful began Ramadan, a holy month according to Islamic teaching, on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Melaye is using the Ramadan month to ask God for the atonement of the sins of the APC and the electoral commission.
He wrote, “Happy Ramadan. Oh God!! use this holy period to right the wrongs of INEC and APC, we pray thee oh Lord. Amen.”
