Peter Obi is detained by immigration officers in London for hours on suspicion of impersonating

Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for president, was purportedly arrested by UK immigration authorities in London last Friday.

After his British Airways flight touched down at Heathrow Airport on Friday morning, Obi was reportedly held for hours and questioned by the authorities.

This was reported on Wednesday morning by Prof. Chinyere Okunna, a well-known mass communication expert and the deputy vice chancellor of Paul University in Awka.

Obi, who lived honorably in the UK, described his ordeal to Okunna, who served alongside him as commissioner for information, commissioner for economic planning, and coordinating commissioner for development partners, in private. Okunna claimed that Obi expressed pain over his ordeal and other incidents that were intended to pursue and drive him out of Nigeria.

“I suppose he told me all this confidentially,” Okunna replied. Your Excellency, please accept my heartfelt apologies for “breaching” this confidentially, but history is calling, and I CANNOT KEEP QUIET.

“Obi talked to me on Tuesday at the official opening of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Sisters’ Specialist Hospital in Nkpor. He had taken a plane from London to go to the occasion.

“Until the applause for his appearance at a London church went viral on the Internet, I had had no idea he had left the country.

“His adventure started when he arrived at Heathrow Airport and entered the regular line to go through immigration.

He was stopped and questioned for a considerable amount of time before being given a detention letter and instructed to wait for more questioning and investigation.

This was quite remarkable for a man who had long before lived honorably in the UK.

Knowing who he is, some well-meaning Nigerians raised their voices in protest in response to the abuse, asking why he was being treated that way.

Okunna stated that the immigration officers disclosed that someone was impersonating Obi in the nation despite what appeared to be opposition from certain Nigerians.

“The Immigration Officer’s surprising admission that Obi’s identity “was copied” shocked everyone. This discovery has undoubtedly raised red flags.

This is a very worrisome development for those who are informed about such things since it implies that Peter Obi is being impersonated.

And that person may link Obi to a variety of questionable and even illegal actions, incriminate him in a number of crimes, and frame him for one or more of them. Imagine the terrifying scenario that may occur!!

For a man who has been subjected to numerous forms of intimidation and emotional torture, including bugging his phone as well as those of his wife and children, constant surveillance, slurs, and severe pressure to leave (run away from) the country, this is the pinnacle of it all. He has also been falsely accused of negative things he has no knowledge of, among other things.

“I could see a man who was in excruciating agony and under excruciating stress, who many would assume to be at the edge of despair, while he was giving me his ‘Heathrow tale of woe’ at Nkpor today.

“But, as he confirmed, he is ready to suffer this pain and is as determined as ever to pursue the path that he has chosen to enable him to arrive at the destination which well-meaning people in Nigeria and far beyond are expecting him to arrive at.”
