Following the appointment of Mrs. Chioma Nweze as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on community development, South East Zone by President Tinubu. Nweze, in a statement expressed her commitment to ensuring complete unity and peace in Igbo land.
She commended President Tinubu and the Minister of Works for their decision to establish a Community Development initiative in the South East, aimed at fostering comprehensive development in the region.
She stated, “I extend my appreciation to President Tinubu for his visionary decision to establish a Community Development program in the South East. This decision has provided a sense of assurance to Ndigbo worldwide, indicating their rightful place in the current political landscape.”
Nweze emphasized her dedication to consulting widely on the best approach to advancing our shared agenda for the reform and revitalization of Ndigbo and the South East. She pledged that her team and herself would continue to seek guidance from both present and past Igbo leaders, attentively listening to their concerns, expectations, and advice.
“I want to assure our esteemed leaders that I am committed to extensive consultations on the most effective way to pursue our shared goals of reform and revitalization for Ndigbo and the South East. My team and I will rely on the wisdom of both current and former Igbo elites. We come as your servants, with you as our masters, and we will always respect and heed your advice,” she said.
