Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has praised Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo for requesting his release from the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.
Aloy Ejimakor, Nnamdi Kanu’s special attorney, announced this in a tweet on his Twitter account on Monday, immediately after visiting Kanu at the DSS headquarters in Abuja.
On Saturday, Governor Soludo appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari for Kanu’s release, stating he was willing to act as a guarantor for the secessionist.
Kanu responded by praising Soludo for having the political fortitude to make such a demand.
“I just finished a visitation with #MNK,” he posted. He asked me to publicly express his gratitude to Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for his political daring in seeking his unconditional release.
“Unfortunately, he told me that his nutrition and medicals are still inconsistent.”
