Frank Lampard has been confirmed as Chelsea’s interim manager till the end of the 2022/23 season.
On Thursday, the club confirmed Lampard’s second spell as manager on their official Twitter account.
“We are happy to welcome Frank back to Stamford Bridge,” the club said in a statement. Frank is a Premier League Hall of Famer and a club legend.
“While we continue our exhaustive search for a permanent head coach, we want to provide the club and our fans a clear and stable plan for the rest of the season.”

Lampard’s official duties will begin on Thursday, when he takes charge of the team’s training.
