On Thursday in Abuja, President-elect Bola Tinubu said he will not disappoint the trust conferred upon him by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), and millions of Nigerians.
He added that he understands the importance of the honor conferred upon him and the task that lies ahead.
Tinubu made the vow during his acceptance speech after being named Grand Commander of the Federal Republic at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja.
“I understand the importance of the honor conferred upon me today, as well as the magnitude of the task ahead.” Nigerians deserve no less.
“You (Buhari) have charted the course, and I shall not disappoint you,” he said.
