Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has given his approval for the appointment of medical directors, special advisers, senior special assistants, and senior assistants.
According to a statement released to the press by the governor’s spokesperson, Suleiman Bala Idris, these new appointments reflect Governor Lawal’s commitment to enhancing service efficiency and recruiting highly capable individuals.
The statement outlined the recent appointments, which include two medical directors, four special advisers, five senior special assistants, and two special assistants.
“In the Ministry of Health, Governor Lawal has granted approval for the appointments of Dr. Aminu Muhammad as the Medical Director of Yeriman Bakura Specialists Hospital and Dr. Amina Hassan as the Medical Director of General Hospital, Gusau,” the statement indicated.
It also detailed the appointments of special advisers, such as Muhammed Gado Anka as Special Adviser for Community Engagement, Nura Almajir as Special Adviser for Job Creation, and Bala Umar Chafe as Special Adviser for Intergovernmental Relations, among others.
The statement concluded by confirming that all these appointments are effective immediately.
