Femi Gbajabiamila, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has been appointed as President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff.
Gbajabiamila arrived to the Presidential Villa on Wednesday (today) after resigning from the House of Representatives.
The newly-sworn-in Speaker Tajudeen Abbas read the letter of resignation of out-going Speaker.
Gbajabiamila announced his return on Twitter, saying, “To the glory of God, I resigned my membership in the newly Inaugurated 10th House of Representatives today.”
“I had the privilege of moving the first motion in the new House, which was about the need to prepare to avert the negative effects of heavy flooding in some parts of the country.”
