Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is said to have agreed to personal terms with Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia.
Mendy’s prospective move to the Middle East is currently being negotiated by Al Ahli and Chelsea.
On Monday, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealed this via his Twitter handle.
“Understand that Edouard Mendy has now agreed personal terms with Saudi side Al Ahli — contract will be valid until June 2026,” tweeted Romano.
“Negotiations are nearing completion for a Senegal goalkeeper to join the Saudi league on a permanent basis from Chelsea.” ” Here we go soon!”
Mendy’s current Chelsea contract expires in 12 months.
Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to offer the Senegalese international a new contract since they are delighted with Kepa and are also interested in Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili.
