The All Progressives Congress, (APC), has set up a reconciliation committee to meet with aggrieved presidential candidates of other political parties who contested in last Saturday’s presidential election.
The committee, according to the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, is to resolve their displeasure and ensure all parties involved work together with the President-elect, Bola Tinubu for the growth of Nigeria.
The Independent National Electoral Commission had on Wednesday declared Tinubu winner of the February 25 presidential election.
Akeredolu disclosed this in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Wednesday.
He said, “The President-elect has set up committees to meet with the gentlemen who contested in the election for us to start the healing process. I belong to one of the committees. We are going to meet them and appeal to them so that we can work together.
