The verification of staff has begun at the Abia State Ministry of Information and Strategy.
The Ministry rescheduled the staff audit, which was slated to take place from Monday to Tuesday, to Wednesday and Thursday.
A release signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Charles Ifenkwe, advised Ministry workers to come to the Ministry’s Administration Department for verification with photocopies of their employment documents.
According to the source, workers with genuine employment records shouldn’t have to be panic about the verification exercise.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sunday Okpara, the Permanent Secretary of the Abia State Ministry of Works, has summoned all contractors working for the Ministry to his office for a crucial meeting.
