Six (6) Bad Habits That Will Kill Your Relationship

Habit

Despite our greatest efforts, we may unwittingly drive the man of our dreams away. The relationship ends, and we are left wondering what went wrong. We ponder about it for a long time and even speak with friends, but we can’t seem to figure it out.

So, if you want to keep your next relationship and know what not to do, here are some things you do that turn him off.

Six (6) Bad Habits That Will Kill Your Relationship

1. Being Nasty And Arrogant

If you are the type of lady who treats people crudely for no reason, you are doing yourself a disservice. The score is 4-1-1, sis.

The way you treat others, particularly those you don’t know and those at the bottom of the social ladder, says more about you than they do about them.

This indicates that you only regard people for what they have rather than who they are, which is a red flag for any man. What if he loses all of his luster?

If you are this kind of woman, you must be self-aware enough to recognize this behaviour in yourself since it is the first step toward rectifying it.

What if, though, someone genuinely breaches your line? Instead of jumping in and fighting them, you can hold back and address the problem calmly. It’s not difficult, and we’re not pretending it is, but you must learn to control yourself.

2. Calling & Texting Too Much

Yes! This person drives you insane, and you want to talk to him and spend the entire day with him. As a result, you bombard him with texts and phone him often for no apparent reason.

You keep on going even if he’s blue-ticked you (not because he’s ghosting you, but because he has real-life duties).

This means that you have an excessive amount of time and very little to do. We are all aware that if you are productively employed, you will not stick to your phone. What should you do?

Allow him some breathing room. Call or SMS him only once or twice. Leave it alone if he doesn’t respond immediately afterwards. He’ll get back to you as soon as he can.

3. Complaining Consistently.

Nobody loves a chronic complainer. If you spend the majority of your time complaining about everything, it’s just a matter of time until he goes away.

If you see that he is not acting on your requests, schedule a time for the two of you to discuss. Avoid being accusatory and talk in an empathic tone when you sit down.

Always have a good attitude and assist him realize what he has to do to make things better.

Allow him to explain himself and demonstrate some level of understanding. If you find that you lack communication skills, take steps to better yourself; otherwise, your relationships will suffer.

4. Lack Of Boundaries.

Your partner will not trust you if you are an open book since you will disclose everything with anyone and everyone. Men want women in whom they may confide.

The inability to do this demonstrates a lack of boundaries as you leave him vulnerable because several people have an insight into your issues.

Keep your friends out of the relationship. If you need to chat, talk to him or get a professional counselor.

5. Disrespect.

You lose your man’s attention if you disrespect him in any manner. You’ve probably heard that guys seek respect more than anything else in the world.

Belittling him, talking down to him, and treating him with contempt will not work. If the man you’re dating isn’t meeting your standards, let him leave. If you think he should work on anything, communicate that in a good in a positive way.

6. Comparing Him With Others.

The last thing every human wants is to be compared with another human. This also applies to men. Telling him that his friend or another man is better weakens him. It makes him feel insignificant and kills his attraction to you.
