National Universities Commision NUC

The Centre for Continuous Education at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce two additional courses. Omolade Adeleke, the Director of FUOYE CCE and an associate professor, announced that Biochemistry and Microbiology programs have been added to the centre’s offerings. This expansion brings the total number of programs offered by the centre to 24, spanning across the university’s six faculties.

In a statement released on Wednesday, titled “FUOYE offers admission in 24 courses of its CCE,” Adeleke stated, “The NUC has granted approval for two new courses to be included in the CCE’s Institute of Part-time Studies. These two courses are Microbiology and Biochemistry.”

“With this recent approval, the part-time program now encompasses a total of 24 courses, covering six faculties: Agriculture, Arts, Science, Social Science, Management, and Education. Application forms for the 2023/2024 academic session are now available, and prospective applicants are encouraged to seize this opportunity, as admission spaces are limited.”

Adeleke expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, Prof Abayomi Fasina, for his support in securing this approval. He also mentioned that the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session, which commenced two weeks ago, is expected to conclude in December.
