“The Lagos State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has said that if need be, the body of the late singer known as Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, would be exhumed to aid investigation. Mohbad’s death occurred under contentious circumstances, and he was buried in Ikorodu area of the State the day following his demise.
In an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, SP Hundeyin affirmed the commitment of the police command to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of the truth concerning Mohbad’s passing. He stated, “The Force PRO issued a statement this evening, indicating that an investigation would be initiated. This is precisely what we intend to do. If the situation warrants it, the deceased’s body could be exhumed, and an autopsy conducted. Additionally, the Force PRO’s statement emphasizes the importance of individuals providing any pertinent information to the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State.”
He continued, “We no longer prioritize hierarchy in this matter. Whether the information is submitted to the Force headquarters or the Lagos State command, it doesn’t matter. We will consolidate the information internally to ensure that justice is served.”
