Gov. Makinde makes fresh appointments in Oyo

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced the appointments of additional aides who will be working with him. The announcement was made on Wednesday, wherein Makinde specified that he had given his approval for the appointment of special assistants focusing on federal constituencies.

Additionally, the governor revealed the designation of a vice chairman and members for the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing). The details of these appointments were outlined in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi.

The appointed Special Assistants on federal constituencies include Ayo Fatokun for Akinyele/Lagelu, Alani Alwajud for Oorelope/Irepo/Olorunsogo, Julian Nwachukwu for Ibadan North, Labule Ishola Olasupo for Ib. NW/SW, Akinajo for Ib. NE/SE, and Olumide Akinlade for Oluyole, among others.

The newly added members to the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) are Abdulrasheed Olokuta as Vice Chairman, along with Dauda Badmus, Mojeed Lanase, Gani Laaro, Jimoh Sijuade Amodu, Olayiwola Bizimilahi, Oyegbori Fatimah, and Razak Ayoola Mustapha.

In his letter, Governor Makinde advised the appointees to see their roles as a dedication to public service and emphasized that the appointments are effective immediately.
