AbdulRasheed Bawa, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has been suspended indefinitely by President Bola Tinubu.
This comes after serious allegations of misuse of office were leveled against him.
Bawa was directed to immediately hand over his office’s affairs to the Commission’s Director of Operations who will oversee the affairs of the Office of the Chairman of the Commission pending the conclusion of the investigation,” according to the statement.
